really interested in this post , got 11000 square foot to quote in the week . I've been looking at getting a dry fusion set up ,why are you not doing the same yourself ?If I get my job could I  get away with using my truckmount, parking is not a issue , but I  would need alot of extra hose, I don't really want the expence of getting a another system at the moment

Thats why I did'nt tell everyone about the envirodri's. Gunny sells them and did'nt want him to lose out. Can't you offer a buy it now price John as that is a good deal (especially for a TM operator as I can see how that would be a very handy accessory to have in your arsenal)

know he feeling. Got her on me back coz it's been so quiet but to be fair I can't complain as we have just moved and can't expect a full diary for 4 weeks ahead and it hasn't been that bad. Did £2k in Oct and that was only my 3rd Month down here.

My old bus partner did £7k in Oct (and most of that was from a contract I had been working on) sold my half to him, but she wanted to move etc etc and in the end it's better to just keep them happy)

Caterham (nr Croydon) in Surrey to Cliftonville (just between Margate and Broadstairs). Which is on the South East tip of England. Do love it here and great for the kids.

Keep the faith John and don't lower your prices (unless you have to fight to pay the mortgage)

We met at 6.30 for a 7 start and it was fairly quiet. Even when we moved vans to the Hotel where my dad works at 8.30 it was still ok. (free parking all day in Victoria, result). Left at 4pm and it took me 3 and a half hours to get home and 2 and half of that was just getting to the M25. Boy I'm beat

Good on yer. I like people who go out there and make things happen against the odds.I know things are not busy for you as you have just moved to a new patch. At least you have the balls to travel and get some dosh.
Nice one  ;)

Paul

I'd even clean toilets in North Wales if it kept the kids in the Montessori they "must have" (yes they are my wifes words). ;D

John

Pay is fair for job but custy was still moaning to Dan (the Red Carpet) that it was too much. They relate us to other trades they use and think we should be paid the same. What they don't get is that we do a number of short period jobs (not four weeks/Months at a time) We have expensive equipment to maintain (and replace regularly) and our marketing costs dwarf those of your average Spark. This subject would make a good topic in its own right.

Got to go back and finish off though. You know what these big project managed sites are like, no-one talks to each other so last bit was'nt ready for us. got to go back next week some time.

Outstanding piece of kit. Upped the quality of my work immensly. Not used it much yet but can see the difference already. Can't believe I was getting recommendations without it. That should get even better now. Cheers for the advice.
