Got me an envirodry today. Pucker piece of kit. Puts so much life back into a pile (as well as being a brilliant agitation machine).
If you ain't got one get one.
Gunny sells them.
-
Used mine today after prespray to agitate. Even on low profile office crpet it lifts some muck out as well.
Good move Pete.
Have you tried changing brushes yet?
That is a pain - if you get the knack, let us know please.
-
Great bit of kit. Would not be without it, even though I feel it`s way overpriced.
Hi Joe, I know what you mean about changing the brushes.
I spray the rods with a little WD40, sometimes it just slides through no problem, other times it just does not want to go the last inch. Thats when the swear box fills up.
Haven't used it as a dry system.

Joe
I'm 3/4 mile from the factory so I'll just get them to do it when I need.
Rabby
Good to have the dry option in your armoury though eh

This is the best bit of kit you will ever buy after a truckmount.
However porty users with one of these dont need a truckmount :o ( did I realy say that).
If you pre spray ( what ever you use, m/s detergents, enzyme what ever) and then spend a good time aggitating with the envirodry ( e40 best) make sure walk areas get lots of aggitation. Then just rinse WITH WATER ONLY, hot obiously, at around 150 psi then the carpets will look like new.
Most of the time the customer thinks the job is done straight after the aggitation.
It brings the pile up great.
Brushes are hard to change at first but just turn the brush as you push the rod in and with abit of practice its easy and takes seconds.
The good thing is you can rine at a lower psi that lets the carpets dry quicker.
I have tried all the conta type aggitation machines on the market and the Envirodry e40 is the best.

you may think I am referringto eleccy motor brushes!?
its the counter rotating brushes, you may have to change these on the job (type of carpet) and the job inevitably is going to be more the 3/4 mile away.
Its a pain getting the long rod through - its the last bit that can cause a problem. Have a go!!!!
-
They have told me that I'll get away with white on most except fine rugs etc for which I'll need the gold ones. Get very little commercial work down here so won't bother getting the tougher ones for now.
-
I use white brushes for most jobs. The gold come out on very soft wool carpets or on deep pile soft wool
rugs, the rest of the time its white.

Hi Pete
R U hoping to use the Envirodri for the odd dry clean as well ? I understand the factory is in your area, but was unsure if prospective buyers can visit here or if it was just a warehouse for distribution. I'm interested in the E40 (earlier posts by me have requested info). However I'm not too close to you to be a competitor and I don't clean carpets for an occupation anyway (although I've been doing carpet cleaning for a long time - hence my enthusiasm) !!

Hi guys
You push the rod through a little, turn over and pull through. Once all cleaned, line them up and push through, once you get to the last little bit you have to wiggle the brushes slightly and they will go through..
Bobs yer Monkhouse!

Hi Pete,
Hope all is well, superb investment my friend!
When i traded in my sebo duo for my e40 couldnt have imagined the difference, i wouldnt be without it now!
Its excellent for dry compound cleaning and used nearly every day for agitation on really trashed carpets especially traffic lanes and really dirty areas. Restores the pile and agitates a treat!
Heres to a long and happy relationship ;D
All the best mate,
Jason.

Hi J,
Things are ok mate. Found some ways to supplement income whilst getting this beast (business) off the ground. Am selling hand made wooden toys from France and they are wicked not like the rubbish you get from Toys r us. (see vilac.com)
E40 is the nuts. Only used it on kids play room and it's turned what looked like a low profile nylon carpet into what looks like the fluffy pink thong you were wearing when I saw you last.
-
Too much information ;)
-
Hi Pete,
Nice one on supplementing the income, do what you can to keep cash flowing till you build up your new customer base.
You promised that night would be our special secret ;D
All the best mate,
Jason.

can some one post a pic up of a one please and how much are they ??? are they heavy getting sick of dragging the scurrba about
-
Go to either Restormate (on home page) or Cleansmart site should see one.
Yes they are heavy - they have to be to do the job.
The older model going for good prices are slightly different shape and blue.
-
Hi
The machine weighs in at around 20kg. Powder comes in 12kg tubs or refills.

Martin, what technique do you use for doing stairs?
Arthur

1st, They are weighty but need to be to do the job as Joe says, but they do come on a wheeled platform for ease of movement. Can't give you any pics but I saw them at factory on Fri and they are all in good nick so get a price by ringing them (see earlier post) and make your mind up then.
