Hi Guys,
Having recently set up as a new w/c I've been looking at going Water fed, now that I have a larger customer base.
However the cost has been putting me off, as presently I'm just making enough to get by and can't yet afford to splash the cash on a WFP System.
Does anyone know if you can lease a WFP System from the manufacturers (not franchise though.....) and an idea of the costs involved.
As by doing this I could increase the size of my round considerably, due to the large amount of one and a half storey houses and unusual style dormer bungalows, that we have in this area (NW Scotland) are really difficult to clean using the traditional methods.
Any advice to a novice - much appreciated. All the best, Dave :)

brodex do lease have a look on there site www.brodexbms.co.uk. ionics also do a finance option but maybe a bit more money

Just an idea if money is tight.
You could get a credit card with 12 months 0% & easily diy a system for about a grand (providing you have a van)
If you dont have a van you could consider a back pack.
Just make monthly payments then to ensure you pay the balance off within 12 months & pay no interest. this is what i did when i bought a pole for 900 quid.

Leasing is always done through a 3rd party finance company. It isn't the supplier who does the leasing. What happens is (If you are creditworthy) you pay the finance company so much per month/quarter over a set number of years and the supplier sells the equipment to the leasing company and gets paid in full by them when you get the equipment.
Here is a good deal on offer at the moment for a top end system but remember you will have to pass credit checks to be able to get it. It's exactly the same with any other leasing deal on offer though.
IE. You pay the finance company the equivalent of the daily payment quoted probably monthly and Purefreedom will get paid the £1995.00 straight away.

It's probably a lease rental deal so you will get full tax allowance on your payments

Hi Dave,
As you know we have soft water here in Scotland so TDS is very low, hence you just need a DI system which you can build for around £700 on the cheep.
If you lease then you are talking around £100 outlay a month.

pop over to the DIY site and build your own system or roughly 500 quid

Thanks for tha advice guys.
I will have a look at the credit card options and also the leasing options you have offered.
How will I find out if I have hard / soft water, without buying a TDS meter ?
DA, because I live in Scotland, does the soft water rule apply to the whole country, or will I be best checking my local area ?
Sorry for all the questions...... :-\
Dave.

Your water should be low TDS , maybe speak to some of the window cleaners in your area that have wfp they will be able to tell you what the TDS level is.

There is a company GNF Cleaning Elgin that have the system.
With a DI system a bag of resin will last you around 3 - 6 months.
