Quickbooks is a disaster.
Avoid it like the plague.
It has some serious issues in multi user mode, and when the number of entries rises to high it gets really slow. That was my experience with the 2004 edition anyway.

Never used quick books but they are supposed to be good and simple. I feel that some may have thought you were talking about entering customers details, and you say you're a bit thick.
IMO means in my opinion.
Excel is a very good (The best spreadsheet programme). It is part of microsoft office.
