It's a certainty. I'll bet my premium bonds on it. It's Vanguard.

Steve I get a few of these by me but no were as many as you. Its the same year in year out.
Also there are lots of cleaners around the country called easy clean.

You will still shine through.

I once quoted to clean a lounge, hall and stairs a few years ago and the customer produced a flyer with £20 a room, staircase £8.00. I went through our procedure and explained what she was paying for, but she remained unconvinced. As a leaving shot I opened my wallet and took out a £10 note and offered it to her explaining I would lose less money if I gave it to her than trying to compete. I booked the job!

Ask her if you don't get the cleaning for £50 a day you will lend her your drying equipment and she'll need it for 2 days.

Hi Guys

Most of the time it's irritating not to get a quote, I suppose it's a pride thing.

However if it's one of those people who want a ridiculous price, then they were never a potential customer and are obviously not looking for a professional CC.

Just move on to the next real customer.

Cheers

Doug

Just had a call from a potential customer today wanting a price for 3 piece, lounge and stairs.  I gave her a rough estimate of £140 (+ VAT), explained who we were, how we did it, etc, etc.

She then turned round and said the chap in the advert above me in the local paper would do it all for £60 and he could do it on Monday afternoon!!  And ........... apparently he's been in the business for 25 years, whereas I have a mere 5 years.

Will I get the job, unlikely!

Do I want it for £60, not bl**dy likely!

I'm now finished for the day and am off to take all the lads out for an afternoon pint!!  However back to work tomorrow morning 2 houses, lounge and stairs in both, in the afternoon I'm taking my new 04 Doblo MPV to get all liveried up for our new domestic cleaners, and then Sunday morning more work(commercial).

I'm taking the weekend off next week, daughters off to stay with Auntie and I'm going to take my dearly beloved to Edinburgh for a couple of days for a good hard ............................................... couple of days shopping!!!!!

CHEERS  ;D
