Vikan are the best all rounders. They are affordable.

Facelift 44ft c/f + vikan brushes both flocked and unflocked.....never used anything else so am biased this way.

I agree with Pingu but can't afford the faceliftcc44'. (£900?)
An Xtel gass firbre 17' is lighter and better for ground and 1st floor, and costs £65 from Gardiners.
You have to buy several poles and make your own mistakes but the Xtel is superb, and it is cheap.
Get flocked vikan and unflocked rectangular brushes- you will need a min of two flocked with fan jets.

carbon facelift pole, modified rectangular vikans both flocked & monofilament with modified MKII swivels. the bizz. ;)

£900? I was quoted a bit over a grand for a 44ft Facelift pole.

You were robbed.

I use good old vikans on some good old universals. Got a super lite 2 with a bentley brush but not overly impressed with the brush, maybe I'm too used to the vikans. The bentley is very light obviously and is great for getting the cills but so far I prefer the feel of vikans on the glass, getting into corners etc.
