Have been asked to quote on a carpet that has some old oil stains on it. It seems someone was changing the oil on their motorcycle and some of it got on the carpet :o
The oil stain is quite old and is old , black oil and is fairly sticky.
The carpet is synthetic and well stuck down so I can be fairly brutal with it.
(Custy is not too concerned about the stain, only the smell)
Anyone any suggestions?

simple traffic clean at high heat followed by acidic rinse at high heat.........no problem
-
Be carfull with high heat on stickdowns as it can cause it to delaminate.
If there is not too much oil then spot with eco but if there is a big volume then eco an be costly and ultra pac wil be your best bet, just give it a good dwell time to soak into the oil.

If in doubt immerse a towel in Hot Ultrapak mix and squeeze the excess out put the towel on the stain and stand on it leave it for a few minutes and then HWE.

Even Hot Ultrapak would get rid of it :o
