Hi Guys,
Have just recently started up as a trad w/c - and am a newbie to the site !
After finding a couple of larger commercial clients I have decided to buy a WFP Trolley system.
I've now narrowed this down to either the Pure Freedom or the Aquatec, has anyone got, or used either of these two systems ?
As the prices are virtually identical, I wondered which one the more experienced amongst you would go for ? And if one had any advantages over the other.....

may last year i had the pure freedom one. it has been brill. freedom back up was fantastic when i needed help and the trolley is far more portable than the other you are looking at.
(you would need one hell of a van for the latter one)
all that said i have now fitted a van system to the van

Just completed my first time round with mine and am very happy with it. I use it with 17mtrs of pole hose and that gets me to most places I want to go.
This is the way I have mine set up.

The little container on the back holds my GG3 for tradding the downs, a sponge/scourer and spare microfibre and is held on with a small luggage strap. The pole is a tripple ext and is held by the barrel. It is useful for fitting a scraper to to remove stubborn birdmuck.
I wear a 'Bucket on a belt' for the trad tools.
If you go for the 'freedom trolley,' get them to send a spare barrel cap. Drill a hole in it just big enough for the hose and fit it to the barrel hose. This will stop water sloshing out when the barrel is full.
Also, be aware that the new freedom trolley dosen't have a pole caddy. Having said that, if it did I wouldn't get it in the boot of my car with six 25ltr barrels of water.

I have 2 x freedom trollies (one for each hand) lol ;D
Naaa 1 for me and 1 for my employee and they are very, very good. Dead easy to move around and built like brick outhouses. They take all the punishment we throw at them no prob at all.
They look so good as well. Very professional. The custies are well impressed when they see them. Like has been said the back up is great as well. I use them as well as my van mounts and find them absolutely invaluable.

do these trolleys have the shurflo 100psi pump and varistream 2 controller?
also what capacity battery do they have?
how long does the water last before you need to change the 25ltr tank for another?
and how does the hose in the top stay at the bottom? is it just pushed down into the bottom of the tank, or does the hose have a weight to the bottom?

The Pure Freedom is heavy and only carries 25 litres. The Aquatec is heavy also, yet carries 50 litres.
If you're going to work from a car, I'd advise you get a backpack. If you're working from a van, I'd advise you to get a van-mounted system (and a backpack).
I've got a second hand 'Aquatec style' trolley system which I've used twice and never again. I've also used the Freedom and found it overpriced, overweight and only carried 25 litres (how heavy is the new model 'dry'?) ; it does look nice though, but that's it.
So I think you ought to choose either the backpack or van-mounted, (or both, ideally); I don't think there's much else bothering with in-between.
No doubt others with disagree with me, but I've given my 'tuppence worth'.

A Freedom trolley of course lol ;D :P. Bl++dy things seem to be breeding around my way. I know coz I,ve seen at least 6 or 7 others usin em :o

Have to agree with Mr. Tosh & NWH.
Just sold my trolley system for £350 and purchased 3 wcw backpacks with money to spare.
Van mount & backpacks. Nothing else needed. Working with bp's soooo much quicker than trolley.

i can't comment on the aquatech trolley as i've never used it. I haven't used the new freedom trolley either but i do have the mark 1 (bigger and heavier than the new one).
I think it's a great bit of kit. When i aren't using it as a detachable system i have it plugged into my microbore and van tank and use as a van mount.
very happy with it!! :)

Wow, thanks for all the replies - seems like the Freedom Trolley has the edge as far as most of you are concerned.
Though will have to consider the back pack and van solution too !

Mine's got the shureflow 100psi pump.
Flowmaster controller.
Your supposed to get at least two days use on one charge.
I've used it for two days on one charge but only doing the tops.
One barrel lasts me 1.25 hrs doing tops only. (first cleans with controller set to 4 or 5)
The hose has a piece of plastic plumbing pipe slid ove it to keep it straight in the barrel. (Does the trick)
You do need a spare barrel cap fitted to the hose to stop the water sloshing out the top when it's full
