Not quite sure how but today my pressure washer hose split approx. a foot away from where it connects to the pressure washer itself.
Its only 2 years old and had little use in that time.
Had to abandon the job half way through as obviously lost all pressure and could not repair on site.
Can anyone tell me if this can be repaired either by myself or take it somewhere to be done professionally.............or is it a replacement job?
Seems a shame to replace as I can afford to lose a foot of it if it can be cut and the connector replaced but the connector looks extremely difficult to remove.
Any advice anyone.

Dont attempt it yourself, But Yes it can be "chopped" to bypass the split section if you dont mind loosing a few feet, You should also ask them to pressure test the hose once repaired to ensure its strong enough for your machine.It could just be bad look or damaged but you need to ensure its strong enough for the job and not going to fail again.
A hose specialist should be easy enough to find online but if you post your location someone may know of one near to you.(shouldent cost much more than about 10-15 squid imo).

What should I be searching for online.....hose specialist..... as that doesn't seem to bring much up.

Hello, Pirtek will come to you but are a bit more expensive - I'm in Dover and use Ardee hose who charge about £15 to re-end a hose

They run a service called `Hose Doctor`, other than that, look on the internet under the heading - Hydraulic fittings, couplings, and adaptors.

I live in the north but if you dont get any info off here or googling for hoses contact someone that sells pressure washers or karchers etc, they may well point you to the right people. alternatively if you have a good local diy (independent type) hardware shop they may know who to try (thats how i found mine).

I'm a Sussex boy so mines not googled....
I would not recommend wb floormachines I've dealt with them twice (they legged me once and tried to leg me the other time) - try trafalgar in Horsham http://www.trafalgarcleaningequipment.co.uk/
I now keep my pw hose in sectioned lengths, that way if I get a split in one I can undo that section and keep on working for the day albeit with a shorter hose..
