Post by: Davew on October 22, 2007, 10:18:04 pm
I priced up two seperate cleans both windows, soffits, facias, gutters and conservatory roof cleans the whole works. Both priced at fifty pounds each, which is way down on prices on this forum. Both customers were shocked at how expensive i was! I don't know what they thought they were going to pay?

I quoted £35 for a con roof clean as green as wembly turf, they said they would have a go at it the weekend as they thought it was too much. Best of luck to them as it would only have been an add on and i don't really care ;D

Someone approached me a while back re window cleaning and said that she was shocked that her window cleaner charged her £30 to clean the conservatory roof.  I told her that I thought his price was very reasonable. I don't suppose I will be hearing from her then  :)  .  I have done very simple ones for £25 but it's usually rather more than that.

I've had a few shocked at the pice for con roofs and facias ect.  When we asked how much they thought it would be they say about the same as the window cleaning.  Daft people, maybe I should put my window cleaning prices up.

Simon.

I often find people think con roof, sofits etc are expensive when i give a price but i just explaine the job is time consuming and can take a couple of hours.
Never had a disapointed customer once the jobs done and they even smile handing over the money!

Pinch of salt, dont believe all you read

What you need to do is decide how long it will take you and then price it at your hourly rate
