any inside ?

its an ex rac 330 so can carry nearly 1800 kg used it last week bloody brill beats my old bt tranny any day,
-
1200 ltrs in an IBC!! :o OUCH!
How is it secured down and is it baffled?
-
ibc is 1000ltr secured to floor with 4x4" eye bolts thru the floor with 4" plates above & below the floor,
the tank is fastened to these with2x 5 ton braking strain ratchet straps from the railways,i no a man lol.
the other water is in barrels that fit the freedomtrolley strapped to the tank, if i need more water for schools etc i will put a 200ltr barrel in & strap it to the tank, with 2 straps.
baffled no
i had the same tank in the other transit un baffled
dident find any problems with water sloshing as most of my work is within a 5 mile radiuos so most of the day the van is parked up in same street or village
not saying that it cant be a problem ( just saying that i aint found it to be)
-
Impressive, I thought it was new. Now you point it out signwriting does well to break the rac colours up because I hadn't noticed.
-
cheers i thought it would clash at first blue/orange,
but was well chufft today when i picked it up from sign writers
i dnt think they will miss me coming lol ;D ;D
price was good aswell

i like that! and its good how youve put cleaning services, nto limiting yourself to just window cleaning! i have just changed the back of my van. im doing all sorts of cleaning now.
and just you wait for them replies about baffles lol...does my head in. if your happy then its up to you init! if you want a cheap and effective way of doing it, get some big drainage piping and coil it up inside of it. all the tiny holes in it lets the water run freely, just a nice DIY tip for ya
like it mate, like it
-
was gona do that 2 be honest but thought about it after the tank was fitted
have used van all last week not found any problems when barking or cornering
when i leave home tank is full
in same village or town all day never above 10mph
when coming home tank is nearly always empty.
unless get rained off >:( >:( >:( >:(
which is very rare ;D

Is that some kind of plastic floor I spotted? So you didn't have to protectocote it either.
-
no its black protectacote was put on 2 week ago best thing i ever done, water runs off it easy to clean aswell
just wish id spent £10 more & got bright blue ???
-
I like the idea of having the hose reels up high keeps it all out of the way and gives you floor space

the last van was mounted to the roof but these are mounted to the 3/4 ply divider that is fastened to the tank
ive put them high so that i can put my pressure washer underneath when needed
they are great when fastened to tank becouse i acn reel them out dead easy & reel them up easy aswell
