We already have a thermopure 300 trailer mounted but want a smaller static for domestic cleaning with trolleys so probably 400 litres max a day tds water is 250-300ppm

Here you go  :)

http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/waterpure.htm#

I have the 300GPD one. I kn+ckered up my 40 Inch membrane on my 1st van mount :( so I decided to get a static set up. It costs far less to run than the old RO. Before this I had to buy the sealed DI cartridges from I+nics. I pay out far less for resin now and always have plenty of water to spare in my IBC. All you need to replace on the RO is the set of 3 prefilters every few months and turn a tap fo flush a couple of times a week for 10 mins :)  Happy now I am  :)

it produces 800 ltrs in 24 hrs

in put tds is 89 out put is 01

so resin use is really low.

the best static RO unit will not be supplied by the companies people will list, they cost well over £4000 just for the RO unit.
if you want a smaller one that makes enough for 3 /4 maybe more people a 40/40 for about £500/£600 would be best IMO

As it's a static system, you probably won't need the fastest ro.
It all depends on how much you want (400 litres you say. So anything from a 100gpd with booster pump (£200) upwards).
How quick you need to produce water?
And how much you want to spend?
Anything from £200 - 100gpd+ booster.
£200 for 200gpd but you won't need a booster pump.
£265 for a 300 gpd, again you won't need a booster.
£280 for a merlin without a booster.
£500 approx for a 4040.
