what do I need to run two hoses off of one pump, or am I better off using two pumps
-
Depends which pump you're using. If you have one of the higher flow rate pumps, such as a 100 psi Flojet, then all you need is a splitter on the end of your outlet hose and connect up two reels.
We currently run 2 x 100 metres microbore off of a pump such as above.

That should work fine. Go to B&Q, buy a 3 way male hozelock splitter, a couple of lengths of half inch hose and 4 female hozelock end stops. That's all you need.

THANKS ALL !!! As helpful and knowledgable as ever

I tried the splitter and found one hose took most of the water as it was a bit shorter.
