Title: Sebo duo

Now i am getting familiar with micro splitters with some success,i have purchased a sebo duo from Nick at soloutins as lots of the guys on the forum state it makes a bigger difference to the aggitation proccess.

Before I go using it I would like some advice off the guys who have  one please.
How much aggitation is needed with the machine?
Which way across the pile do  you use it?
Can it be used on 100%wool,Loop pile and wool rugs without damage to the construction?
And any other advice on usage.

Hi Paul

The duo is a very light machine, so should present no real problem on any of the surfaces you have mentioned however care should be taken if agitation is used on certain rugs ( high quality) and may not in fact be a requirment during the cleaning of rugs,

You should agitate in both directions following a thorough vacuum.

Paul,

At the risk of attracting a 'Piskies Curse', there is a school of thought that sugests that even an upright vacuum cleaner should not be used on loop-pile carpet. (Low-profile commercial loop excluded)

Personally I do not fully subscribe to this, though I do vacuum at 90 degrees to the loop. When using a Host machine I will use the gold (soft) brushes
