hi guys i cleaned a house today that aint seen a window cleaner for 2 years and the windows was the worst iv cleaned.
I did not rush the job but the results was a bit of a downer i had 2 or 3 runs and some marks that needed a lot of scrubbing nothing major, then when i packed away i could see a few marks that looked like faint birds muck.
Now the customer was well pleased but i was a bit dazed as to why it had not shifted,i know how much i scrubbed and rinsed all the windows was enough to do a good job so what is left to try?trouble they all looked good when wet.
Am i just to fussy? as there was nets up.
Was she only happy because all the frames look good wet?
any help?
cheers joe

Maybe suggest to her afterwards if you think the quality is questionable that because theyve not been done for so long it can on occasions be nigh on impossible to get 'em gleaming on the first visit.
I had one today where the old boy must have discarded his chip fat out the back door; it was all over the doors main window. Couldnt get it off, so I asked him for a kettle of hot water, that shifted it, but took a few tries. Its not always easy and his windows are done 6 weekly.

There are some stubborn stuck on marks that WFP just cannot shift.
I did a first clean today and had to get the ladder out and get up there to scrape the marks off.

Her windows look 1000 times better after you'd finished and she's probably delighted...so stop being a fuss-pot ;D

Would that be mineral and calcium deposits Andy?
