Had it set up for three story work when it started to topple whilst i had it by the last couple of inches in my weaker left hand. Couldn't hold it and it came down and caught the last few inches on the fence with a smack. No damage to the pole at all - impressed. Also i normally use a cheap fishing pole for three story too, i used to think it was not that different to a Superlight untill I started using the Superlight 2 for the same work - no comparison. There is just so little bend with the new one it's a joy to use horizontally too. Love it. :)

I may be a bit thick where poles are concerned but what is a superlight? I can guess its better than what I use but I an trying to develop some awareness of what else is available.

Have a look on Gardiners website. The origional Superlight was really a fishing pole, light but delicate. The Supelight 2 looks very similar but is far stronger but super light!

I used mine for a window above a garage roof today.
15ft horizontal above my head.
Still not too difficult! :D

I wish I had a video of that Dave - I could have put it on the website :)

I'm more interested to learn why you couldn't hold a supalight pole in your hand! Did the wind catch it? Was you holding it one handed? Luckily for you it never landed on anyone.

Its a bit like the chinese plate balancing trick, because it can be done you do. But mistakes will and do happen. Operator error.

Purely my fault - i was dropping a section off when i snagged my hose (i was moving at the time) just a little, enough for it to go beyond recovery (arm up in the air) came down quite slowly to start with but a lot quicker as it approached the landing strip.
