Title: Backpack problems- Slow starter in the mornings

Hi Alll

Any advise welcome. I am having problems with my Shurflow backpack in the mornings. On first use it doesn't want to start. The pump comes on but just makes a low pitched whining noise for about 5 minutes. Eventually after alot of ons and offs it will start to work. Obviouly this isn't filling me full of confidence - I know the day is coming where it will call in sick for the full day.

Once it has started, it will go for the day with no more problems.

Any ideas?

You could have a dodgy battery.

No, I have ruled that out. I have three batteries I use on a rotation, all show the same problem. Could it be debris inthe pump? In the beginning I was stupid and didn't use a filter when pouring the water in.
