I have been told by them you have upto 20 min's to unload / load,.
Some say that where the water is in the back of car that still counts, you can contact your local council and get a writen ticket allowing you to park in certain areas of the road at times allowed by them.

Go and speak to the traffic warden(s) in question and let them meet you and like you.

I can park anywhere in my town.
They just smile and say hello.

Maybe just have a chat with them as you see them. They are only doing a job and will tell you what you can do and cannot do.
If you are doing a job, then they may be more lenient than if someone is just too lazy to park properly while picking up their paper.

Yes I would recommend having a chat with them as you see them. Maybe its just here in Brighton that we are lucky, there is supposedly an agreement that traffic wardens leave us wc's alone, providing we have a note clearly displayed "window cleaner at work" and we are parked responsibly , that even includes double yellows. I have an A4 laminated sign on fluro paper I put on my dashboard (as well as sign written van). Never had a ticket yet in 2 years. ;D

go find out who runs the wardens,( police or private) then go talk to them and see if you can get a parking dispensation
