Why has Dave got bigger stars under his name than us, is this favouritism?

Well done Dave. Glad things are going well.

I remember one of your post about when you first started. Something about cleaning caravans with a sponge.

I bet back then you would never have  imagined the position your in now

Great deal.
I've always been more excited about a van than a car. Anyone can drive about in a merc, but when you get that puppy fitted out exactly as you want it, signed etc, with your favourite cd on ,and some big wig on the hands free calling you Dave you'll be in seventh heaven.

just remember i got mud flaps and twin side sliding doors with windows in which in turn have sliding windows.

I looked everywhere and these vans aint cheap, i would of bought brand new, but there is about a 12 week waiting list.

I reckon i will get about £10k back in about 3 years, so not bad really

Where do you park them?

I live on an estate and have a scudo, ducato, and fiat bravo car. They are on my drive but I wonder what the neighbours think. When I was to buy on a brand new estate they told me no vans.

You are right i started with a bucket and sponge to go and clean a few chalets on a camp site, back then i had a G reg sun faded red ford sierra sapphire with 4 rusted out doors and lived in a council house,
now 9 years later i have a £250'000 house 2 vans, a 911 carrera 4 , a good income i wont say how much but it is now well over vat level.

Not bad for a poor kid who went to school with holes in his shoes.

I just thank god everyday and pinch myself to see if i am still dreaming.

Dave

p.s I have got a georgeous wife to, I am so so so so lucky

I did notice courtesy of the Daily Mail website that Simon Cowell has had a week off work and purchased a Bugatti Veyron and a Bentley drop top.

Jealous  ??? YES! Be nasty to your potential customers. Apparently, in his game it works. I prefer to please them all as is reasonably practicable.

DO NOT GO COLLECTING IN A BUGATTI  :o 8) :o 8) 8) :o

Always show them a works vehicle - even if it's new ;D

Ben
thats so true, I got my wife a hyundai coupe and used to do the odd collection in it, people said the same to me no comparision to a bugatti but same prinsiple (spelt wrong) I then stopped staright away and used as dave said "the clapped out estate car" which I still use now, but there is one thing that can be on the good side on this, if you collect which 90% of the time I do not, that they see you are not a lowlife after beer money or drugs they see you are doing well and respect you a little more. having the van etc will be alot better IMO I will be collecting every night beeping my horn  ;D
(worth a try for the curtain twitchers)

nothing at all I got bought up in one, i then lived in one for a year, nothing like that now nor my family everyone starts somewhere, and I respect many in council houses as thats where i started from (you will note i said many (you always get the odd waster in there hence why the bad name  >:(

I'm not sure where the council house thing came from?

The main point that i was trying to make is Dave has worked hard and has grown his business from nothing.

So i think it should be an insperation to all and to see what's achievable.

The moral of the story is well done Dave and thanks for showing us what can be achieved with hard work   ::)

It give me a sence of well being knowing that I'M ONLY A WINDOW CLEANER, As some people put it.

I must admit working for for myself for the last 2 1/2 years where it has got me I know I should of done this years ago, What a lovely life style I have now all for the sake of cleaning windows....

You must admit to selves that you can't earn this kinda money unless your a doctor or something....

Nice car, Nice van, nice clothes, Nice holidays and nice girls... 8) ;D 8)
