Just had the new price list through! Pro 10 only £14k +vat!! :o  or 3.5k +vat for a converted porty!

Who's getting one?!!!

That sounds like it's aimed at the window cleaner with more credit than sense.

Isn't the portable just a Hydromaster "Grace" model carpet cleaning machine with two 15" polishers attached? My old man uses one for carpet cleaning. Surely the pole doesnt cost 2k!
Just a bit baffled by the high price tag.

These type of machines are aimed at large contract cleaning firms who consider 14k to be small change.

When you compare Ionics prices to these cleaning firm's labour cost then it is really peanuts. Say you have 200 employees on £15k a year and 10 managers on £25k a year and one area manager on £50k a year then this equals over £3 million a year in labour cost before tax and NI so spending £14,000 on a machine is nothing to them.
