Title: removing beeswax

Hi all. Can any of you guys give me some advice on moving beeswax from a conservatory roof. It will not come of using wfp and i cant reach it by hand,any ideas?.

By bee's wax I presume you mean bee poo?
Even done trad, getting that off ordinary windows can be a real sod >:(
And it also depends on the type of pollen the bees have been collecting too!

Find some way of attaching an abrasive pad (not one that will scratch the glass or perspex mind!) to your brush, or have a bucket with a dilute solution of TFR, dip brush in and pre-soak the glass, and then work out some heath robinson method of attaching the abrasive pad (or pads) and scrub scrub scrub :-\

You can of course get specialist equipment, I think Ionics and Omnipole do brush attachments and so on....no good though if you want to go out tomorrow and do the job is it?

If the consevatory is on the flight path the bees take back to the beehive, that could be a tough job to get spotless.

wHY NOT GET A WHITE SCROURING PAD FROM A SUPERMARKET A LARGE ONE (NON SCRATCH) get a few cabal ties and bob ya uncle you have a pole with pad attached  ;D

Anything that can abrade the poo will do. Try fitting a stiffer bristled brush to your pole.

Any suggestions please  about which brush has the stiffest bristles without scratching glass?

Easiest thing to do is to go down to Tesco or B&Q and have a feel of a few different brushes, find the stiffest bristles that still have some flex. Give them a try, they should only cost a few quid. Hose down the roof first then give a scrub and WFP to finish.
