Anyone used brodex prolong poles ,whats your veiws on them ???

I got a 35ft c/f pole from them it was like a tree trunk sent it straight back

Thanks for your opinion what do your consider to be best pole upto 25ft value/performance

I can only comment on what i have used and that is a 18ft and 30 ft universal pole at 18 ft it was fine at 30 ft it was ok a bit heavy but not bad then i got a 35ft facelift c/f pole i use this mainly as a 24ft pole by removing some sections and it is fantastic a light pole and rigid although the brush is pants changed to a vikan
try looking on www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk they have a chart showing different poles etc that will give you a better idea than mine and the owners brother posts on here any questions about their stuff and will give you honest advice

I notice the brodex poles have gone up? am sure they were cheaper the other week.

I bought two 24ft prolongs and i think that they are by far the best pole i have ever used for weight and they are by far the most riged pole that i have used and with a 30 month guantee you cant go too far wrong apart from the price of £300

I've got the prolong 25ft and is very good, I would like to get the 18ft as well but I don't like the price of it at the mo....

i had a brodex carbon fibre that broke after six month,s when i wanted a to buy the new section they had stopped making that one so it had to be replaced by a section of a predator pole.
as for the prolong pole it is a really good pole very light and rigid and can take plenty of hammer so my veiw is the pole is good but brodex after sales service is very poor.

what type of vikan brush you use fitted to the carbon pole?Was the facelift brush no good?
I'm thinking of buying a pole soon,just not sure what type yet...most of my work will be first floor to be use with the new pole.

I have the rectangular flocked brush much lighter than the facelift brush but you do get much lighter brushes
The facelift brush is far too heavy
If you are only doing first floor work then a facelift c/f is probably too expensive for the amount of work you will use it for look on Gardiners site they have some good shorter poles i cant tell you anything about them as i have not used or even seen them so you will have to ask other members for their opinions
