did think about it for about an hour then thought no way, from the guys that do it round my way they seem to be using pressure washers and a massive ibc tank, couple have bin lifts, I will stick with window cleaning, cause start stop for say £3 a go seems like hard work to me, not knocking them at all sat there watching them one day for about an hour and the whizz round, I just dont want to follow the bin men round everywhere. thats my thoughts on it

You have to be licensed to do wheelie bins, there are lots of environmental  issuse, to sort out, as you can't just flush the waste down drains.

My mate paid £10,000 for his own set-up that inclueds his van, water re-cycler and filters.

Look into it before to take the plunge.

Here is his site. www.clean-a-bin.co.uk

If its done professionally its a good business but theres no point playing at it. You need a proper vehicle and a full round. Then its worth doing.
I've seen a few cowboys doing it with a pressure washer out of the back of an old van with no protective clothing etc. Very dodgy, not to mention illegal.

Yes its illegal to wash them in the road. The waste water has to be collected within the vehicle. Carpet cleaners are the same, they can't empty their machines into a drain or gutter. Technically, its illegal to clean a car in the road even.

Water company regulations. It counts as industrial waste. Storm drains are for rain water and nothing else.
Also, I would imagine there are health issue about the debris that gets washed out of the bin but doesn't make it to the drain and gets left in the road.

Never mind adding wheelie cleaning to your window cleaning businesses,  the wheelie cleaners are moving into window cleaning. :o :o

There's already one called "The Wheelie Bin and Window Cleaning Company"

As their market has diminished, they're looking to window cleaning as a method of replacing lost revenue.

WATCH YOUR BACKS  :o :o :o :o :o :o

Lots of profit to be made in wheelie bin cleaning
Turn over minimum £60 a hour

No mess you dont get wet or dirty unless its raining and you can work every day in all weather and I can tell you how to run your business without waiting for the bin man.

Take a look
