Passed it today. So am now equipt to do that!
Am using one all next week so saftey first lol
-
What did it cost you Matt, and tell us what you had to do?
-
Its £250 whether theres one of you or 10. Then £20 for the licnese.
Did a pratical, basic movements, taking it up and over a high building. touched the top of the building. Driving it.
Then a written exam. It was fairly easy. Commen sense really. I got 100% in that. All you've got to remember is saftey safety safety. YOU are responsible for your machine and everything YOU do.
Well worth it in my opinion. Would love to see the costs when you get caught at height with out one. :o

Put your name down as an operator at your local hire centers, you can get good money.
I'm thinking about taking mine, and sticking my name down at the local councils also westland Helicopters.
