Hi Guys,
Just received my booster pump for the merlin(70lpm,big brute of a thing)
Problem is I've calibrated it to the best of my ability but I can't seem to get it to run constantly.
Original psi. is 31,booster pump switches on and it hits 65psi,cuts out and drops to 50 psi before it turns on again, then repeats and so on.
Any body got this type of pump and can help with the calibrating??

Dave how much did you pay please, that fills up a 500ltr tank in under 5mins.

Inside the plastic housing are two adjustment bolts (as you probably know). I simply tighten both of these fully so that the pump will stay on all the time until the mains pressure increases.

Good nick? It's brand new! Comes complete with manufacturer's warranty. All that we have used it for is to pressure test it and check it works. It's in a box ready to go. By the way, it's quite large. They look quite small in the little picture above. It's a good 2 ft long by 2 ft high by a foot wide. I'll let Kirsty know you'll be ringing tomorrow.

I reckon Kirsty might throw in 10 meters of that transfer hose and a petrol pump style trigger if i ask her nicely. :o :o :o :o :o

I will ring tomorrow, cheers Alex.

Hi Alex whats your mains psi?

I have one of these from Gardiners and after a few calls with Alex I just took the plastic cover off and tightened the two bolts fully.
It stays on constantly then!!!

Hi Alex whats your mains psi?
My mains psi is 105 which is why I have never needed a booster pump!
