Title: cheq cancelled

i had a cheque stopped and wondered whethered if i represent it , will it be paid?

if the other persons account has the funds to cover it then it will, if not it will bounce back to you again and cost who ever gave it to you another thirty quid in fees so I would represent it and just keep on doing so until it does clear ;D

Hi,

If the custy has stppoed it then, it will never get cashed. But it the bank have referred to drawer, then it''s bounced. You can only bank a bounced cheque twice.

Find out what has happened first, becasue the custy may have paid to have the cheque stopped!!!
