Finally got my van last night, and 15 mins later got pulled over and got 3 points and a £60 fine for speeding  :(   :-[ :'(  HDI CIT relay goes quicker than I thought.
and got a free breath test which I though was very nice of the coppers and they even gave me a free white tube to take home and a signed autograth.

Was an under cover police car that was just passing, sods law, the worse thing was I had my guy that works for me following me in the car behind so we just got all the free stuff and a fine each. I should start a private traffic police company £120 in 4 mins 6 bonus points (for a prize I dont want) a a free plastic tube I had to try and blow my lungs out of and nearly passed out doing.

Aslong as you don't get banned, then you will be buggered!

The police man that pulled me over a while back said he pulled someone for driving to slow on the motorway, 25mph or something  ;D pulled me over for going to fast, you cant win

so you dont dent the panels from inside with poles etc etc. My mate doesnt have ply lining and it is full of dents from things hitting the panels from inside, Luke

why line it?
because it will look nasty after a few weeks carrying stuff in the back, as Luke pointed out you get dents inside that show on the out side, My van looks like new so want to look after it.

what you gonna use your 3 points for? I mean when I get points off tesco's they send me vouchers a month later. The police might do that for you!  ;)

lol, I was going to try and send them off and see what prize I get, I already got a breath test tube free (well not free cost me £60) did get the guys autograth maybe I should sell it on ebay.
The only time I have every been caught speeding is on the IOW was well impressed with the car though and the way they broke the speed limit for 1/4 following me, one rule for one and one for another >:(

They thought you were on a job. White Van in a hurry, car stuck to it's rear end like glue.
You should have been able to talk your way out of that one, new van, very excited, tell them more than they need to know about WFP, get the conversation on to biulding web sites.
They always say to me don't let it happen again, but I can bore for England when I have to.

48 is at the PC's decision, they could have had you in court for that 1, you were lucky with the 3 points

They normally allow you 10% of the limit your driving in,if you get stopped by police that are using a radar gun if it looks as though your getting a fine and points make sure you ask them if the radar gun has been calibrated before use that day,by law it has to be and they don`t always do it.Also don`t pay by post go to court,if they don`t send a police officer and they don`t always do the case will be dropped, there are loads more ways you can get out of these speeding fines and points.

it was not a speed gun, I got follwed for 2 miles by an undercover police car, well the bloke behind did, they got both us us at once, and they are both my cars/van i was more interested in getting the ferry to be honest and trying to drive in a straight line  ;D
