I have noticed a allen screw at the front of the pump, Could i turn this to increase pressure?

As far as I know the 60psi 100 psi ratings are just the pressure that the pressure switch cuts in at, the actual flow rate of the pump is stamped on it and that can't be changed, you obviously got a high flow low psi cut off on the one and the opposite on the other....probably ;D

Do you know how i would change the Flow on a pump?
Thanks dave

Find a container and time how long it takes to fill a litre of water from your pole jets, if it's the same as whats stamped on your pump...thats your limit , if it's not try to derestrict the flow somehow, bigger bore pipe possibly :-\

The maximum flow rate of a pump cannot be changed.
The 60psi or 100psi designation is not the pressure you will get out of the pump, but is the shut off pressure at which the pressure switch is set to turn the pump off. This can be altered slightly by adjusting the allen screw in the end of the pressure switch, BUT BE CAREFUL, this is usually for factory setting only.
SHURflo pumps currently used on Water Fed Pole applications are the 8000-441-138 (100psi, 4l/min) and 8000-946-138 (100psi, 5l/min) and are fitted with higher rated motors to suit the vigours of window cleaning.
If you have a 60psi pump it will probably be an old one originally designed for Agricultural Spraying applications with a lower rated motor designed for the intermittant duties of spraying.
