I have reproduced below an email sent out to all NCCA Members with just a slight edit to suit the needs of a forum. The event is open to all interested parties, whether members or not, but only NCCA Members can attend the AGM. As is normal, the price quoted below is the discounted rate for Members. Non Members will not receive the discount.
All of the seminars are focused on business development, not just in one-off cleans, but maintenance systems and marketing too. And don't presume that the presentation by a Franchisor will have little value to independents. I am privy to what's in store, and I think that you'll find it very, very interesting. I can't say more, my lips are sealed :-X
Hope to see you all there

Hi Ken
I would have email you this question if you had not hidden your email. but what does chemspec kbow about high profit carpet maintenance?

As with all manufacturers Ian, Chemspec can show you and tell you about the tools, training and products you need to offer an effective maintenance programme to your clients. It's down to the individual buisiness whether they take this information on board and put it to profitable use. The same applies to many other supplying companies too.
Chemspec have an enviable reputation when it comes to product quality, and their range includes solutions for all generic carpet cleaning systems.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Chemspec taught me a lot of things i did'nt know, so did prochem so did craftex, so did John at restormate, really it up to you to listen and take it from there.
I love talking ( a bit too much) but I try and remember to sht up and listen, because if you do all the talking you never learn anything.

NCCA AGM 2007
For the second year running the Annual General Meeting of the National Carpet Cleaners Association will be held at the Leicester Racecourse, a venue that has previously proved to be both popular and successful. The event will be running on Friday 26th October 2007.
The AGM will follow the equally successful Technical Roadshow format throughout an action packed day. This year's sponsors will be Hydro Dynamix Ltd, CMS Ltd (Envirodri Division) and Chemspec Europe. The day's events will again include specific technical seminars presented by each of the sponsoring Associate members plus other NCCA and industry representatives.
For many members, trading during the extraordinarily wet summer has been difficult. However, for those well skilled in the “science” of marketing have tended to perform better. In view of the problems encountered by some, we have invited guest speaker Brian James to inform and enthuse us about some of the marketing techniques and skills we need to succeed. As a bonus, Brian has donated ten copies of his book “Don’t Work For Your Business, Make Your Business Work For You”. These books will be free to ten lucky winners!

In addition there will be a small exhibition for delegates to view displays of Associate equipment, accessories and other products and services. So far we can confirm that Prochem Europe, Truvox International, Host Von Schrader, Dri Eaz and Hydramaster will be present. We expect there to be a wide range of products and services on display from across the entire industry. A buffet lunch is included and refreshments will be available throughout the event.
The cost of entry in to the event will be £35.00 + VAT for NCCA Members and £45.00 + VAT for any non-members. The cost will include entrance to all the seminars, the trade show, lunch and refreshments. Parking at the venue is free.
The Annual General Meeting, which will be open to all members of the NCCA, will allow an opportunity for members to update themselves on the progress of the Association during the past year, a chance to air views and be involved in the various proposals and decisions for the future of the association.

Are you calling me interesting?
My Missus calls me a boring old watsitsface for being on this computer!
"It's all yellow spray bottles, green spray bottles, red spray bottles! blah blah blah!"
Shaun
PS dunno I have a job booked in already for the morning I could move it I think.
-
this a common theme Shaun. My wife is just the same. I just retort with "my people need me" not that I have much technical expertise to offer. May make this trip myself. In your opinion though, will there be much to be seen that was'nt at the CCDO?

Will the Trade stands be maned while you Guys are having your meeting.?

Ian
I can't speak for individual exhibitors, but last year most of them stayed on their stands except for the individuals making presentations at the seminars.
