Title: NCCA
Post by: paul_smith on October 26, 2004, 05:08:51 pm
I joined the NCCA last week and i have just received an email enquiry from a lady who went on their web site,
if i get this job it will pay for the years subs.
Not why i joined but a great bonus.
Do other members get many enquiries this way or was it a one off.

Hi Paul

Glad to hear you got a lead via the NCCA website ...I have had several via this route and even more via a telephone request to the NCCA office.

at the present time I am competing with Mr Steve Carpenter who operates a business about a mile away from me over a large, very dirty, well stained, Chinese Rug... This was an NCCA referral...We are both trying to get the job for each other....sorry Steve she's only coming back to me... I quoted a lot dearer than you and told her I couldn't do the job until after Christmas ;)  ;D

I too Paul frequently receive referals from the various NCCA sources. Probaly the most productive for me is the Corporate Advert in Y/P, but it costs me about £130. Then it's the NCCA office and finally the NCCA Website. I've also received referals from Uncle Derek and Paul Pearce, thankyou chaps, plus a recent one from a fellow member in Putney, London. It's two way traffic too. As you have probably gathered from my previous postings and articles in Newslink, I'm into networking in a big way, both socially as well as on a business level. The rewards are much greater than financial alone.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
Ken

Got two enquiries from NCCA website on Sat,Got both jobs,
One i quoted double what she had been quoted over phone
and i got the job because i  am a member of the trade organisation (her words).
This is turning into a good source of enquiries and i would reccomend it to all start ups.
