who has their van sign written?
Who did you use and any idea on costs for a full wrap?
pics welcome and webaddress for fitters is a bonus, I do not want to DIY.
-
Hi mate,
I do signwriting aswell as window cleaning.
I can give you an idea of what price your looking at. what van is it? and are you sure you want a full wrap? because this is very expensive and more than often not nessesary. Full wraps are what the Sky vans have and require completly wrapping the vehicle in special printed vinyl

citr relay swb,.
Where are you located? I dont have to have a full wrap I justed asked about it so will no the max cost I am looking at. Helping with design is no problem at all my end
-
Full wrap would cost you around £2000.00,
However you only need standard livery and for a van your size you should be looking at between £250-400 depending on design.
I am based in Manchester by the way
-
Mine was £170 fitted, he came up with 3 or 4 designs, chose the bits i like
& then he came up with the final design. I only wanted the sides done.
-
nice macc i like it. good price too :)

I got mine written for a bit over £200.
It's a black Renault Trafic. I went for white - text only.
I kept it very simple because I just want people to see what I do and how to contact me.
I had the sides and back doors done.
-
i'm getting mine done this Friday it will cost me £619.75+vat, but that is because it as alot of wraping :'(

Do a site search for "van pictures".
There was a few threads some time ago with van pictures in.
-
cheers Squeaks ;)

If these pics come out on here I had this done last week. £385 + VAT and its both sides and back with a windscreen sticker too. I also think my camera is playing up so quality of pics is poor.

My personal view was that too many vans are not memorable. I have had my logo designed for over a year now and I do everything I can to push it and make it memorable. I print it on everything too.
So my theory was if you were behind my van you would have no choice but to read it as it is in your face. I am sure many would disagree but that is my opinion.
I have noticed that people are turning to look at it all the time as it stands out.
Just got to make sure I drive sensibly. lol ;D
-
Your personal view is a good one, I do the same but my logo happens to be my website address aswell ;) ;D
-

Hi Ian here is my van, good part of it has been wrap, it cost over 1k and do I think it was money well spent...yes its paid for its self. If I was you, try all your local van signage companys and see what they have to offer because small bits did lift on my wrap and it was easy to get fixed when using a local company

what do you think of mine dave?
-
Ian
Its a lot better than mine, the only thing i would say is that orange writing on a blue
background can be very blurry to a lot of people.
Apart from that , a good image
-
I understand what you say about the orange on the blue, I designed the image for that reason, sounds odd but i want people to walk nearer the van when they see it, it that does not work they see the website (our logo) if that fails they ask about the guarentee ;)
-

Like I say - It's asking for trouble IMO.
You clean the windows for a customer at 9am. It starts to rain at 11am and rains for 3 hours. They then call you at 5pm and say "there are spots on my windows because you cleaned them and then it rained". You then have to go back to the customer to re-clean and realise all the "spots" they were talking about are marks on the inside of the windows! = Waste of time :(
