I am looking to do their 2-day course soon especially for the repair side as I already clean leather. Has anyone done their course up in Team Valley in Gateshead? Is it up to much? Cheers, John

Did the first one he ran which in all honesty was ok but it was the first one he had ran.It was a learning curve for Ben too only heard good things about his courses since then.
He is also local enough to yourself if you do have any problems too, well worth the money.

fantastic value for money, I did a 3 day one in january absolutely fantastic I probably clean about 2 suites a week and re dye stuff may be once a monthish.

Im thinking of doing a course, I phoned them and they said they would get back to me with dates yesterday...they didnt. I tried again today...still no joy. They dont seem very reliable to me. Im assuming its the same place you guys are talking about as its in gateshead, leathermedic I think they are called.

Ollie never had a problem with Ben or Keith in terms of communication as they are normally on the end of a phone most times of the day,and Ben responds to emails daily.

I have been to a couple of coures with Ben and found both very informative.
Im sure you will find your time in leather trainning invaluable for future business prospects.

The best thing about Furniture clinic is that they don't talk down at you, you go there and have a very informative hands on and theory, the products are excellent and so is the price and they also have a 1st class spray booth for you to practice, it's win win, I got going straight away when I got back home because the teaching was straight forward and made simple.

I can vouch that he's been busy.
Badly soiled grease soaked head rest of 2 rear cushions.He looked at them yesterday for me advised I prep-ed the leather then applied light filler using sponge,allow to dry or use hair dryer,rub with fine sandpaper then apply colour and finish as per normal.
Hey presto great repair this one was a lot worse than I had trouble with the other week and it dried perfectly
Another reason why skywalker you should attend furniture clinics course as any problematic leather you have you can just call in and see Ben

2 Day Leather Cleaning & Repair Course - £250
Monday 5th & Tuesday 6th November 2007
Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th December 2007
1 Day Leather Restoration - £200
Wednesday 7th November 2007
Wednesday 21st November 2007
Wednesday 5th December 2007
If you book both courses (they run after each other), the prices comes down to £400 instead of £450.
