Title: Black mascara
Post by: paul_smith on October 24, 2004, 09:02:38 pm
My 2 year old boy and his 16 month old sister today thought it would be a good idea to use their mums mascara to draw
/paint on our bedroom carpet.
This is 80/20 wool and it is cream!
We are talking 2 foot long 2 inch wide solid black marks.
Any ideas ?
ps two kids free to good home,no trouble at all.

Paul,

Memory lane !!  :D

Solutions Eco Spotter was not available when my little angels were perfecting that trick, so citrus gells or Solvol were used.

Mist Eco Spotter and agitate/blot with towel.

Beloeve it or not, I've had big sucess with Penzoil, whereas WD40 would not work on mascara.

Hi ,

I would use white spirit on a cloth , then extract.

Cheers,

Have tried most and are good even the cheaper options but have to say, most leave a pungent odder, in the air that is, have yet to find that with Eco.
