Moring all,
Can anybody help me please?
I'm looking for some chewing gum remover as I have just got a job to do a spring clean a shop but there is chewing gum squashed in the carpet.
I used some stuff a while a go which froze the gum and it chipped off lovely but I used it all up.
The propblem is I am starting the job on Tuesday morning so I was wondering if there was anywhere in Cambridgshire where I can buy it over the counter?
Many thanks
Nick

There are much better products which will soften the gum and allow you to remove it. Steam is my preferred method, but you still hneed to wipoe away the residue with a solvent
-
rid-a-gum mate, no question, its far more superior than anything i've ever used.

Ive just spent £50 on some stuff ..
Did on realise it was that much as the shelf said 4 for £35 so was a bit supprised and just smiled .
It was my fault need to read signs more carefully.
I will let you know if it is good do not want to mention it as its best to test myself but I am expecting mirricles.

Tried rid a gum myself for the first time today and got to say it's very good.

Best for removing gum is a steam gun! invest in one of these, I have had mine for over ten years and still going strong

Agree with Stuart I have used steam with great success, but usually need to wipe the residue. Best to clean first but you will get wet knees if unprepared. I also like Rid a Gum.
