I want to add some extra hose to my Freedom trolley. I'm currently using about 6mtrs of PVC hose. I'm thinking of carrying another length with me for when I need it or fitting a longer length altogether. But before I do I was wondering about the pros and cons of either using Reinforced Microbore or PVC hose.
Any input would be appreciated.

Dai Hutton kindly let me and my mate have a look at his diy wpf trolly system and I noticed he uses 6mm silicone aquarium hose. it sits better on the pole and is far less likely to kink. ;)

Hi Mark
Hows the change over. Somebody put a post up ages ago saying he has a freedom trolly but carrys an extra length of pole hose on his poles. So instead of say 6ft of hose at the bottom of your pole once it's fully extended you have say 25ft. He reckoned you could just park the trolley at the front do all the windows at the front and then move around to the backs. He thought it was a brilliant idea.

Hi Guys, Been out most of the day, hence the delay in replying.
Silicon aquarium hose? Thought had crossed my mind and I dismissed it as I didn't think it would take the pressure form the pump when you stop the flow. I'm even having trouble with the 6mm PVC hose I'm using at the mo holding the pressure. It doesn't come off but it does leak. I'm having to use small cable ties to clamp it to the connector. I've got some silicon aquarium hose in a cupboard somewhere. I'll have to experiment.
I'm thinking that the reinforced microbore would probably be more difficult to handle. Could be very wrong though. Thats why I was hoping for some feedback.
Hi Simon, I'm enjoying it so far but I've a long way to go yet.
Had a, 'Been there, done that got the 'T' shirt,' type older chap this week. Wouldn't listen to a word I had to say at first. Said: 'I want someone up a ladder doing the job properly, bit of elbow grease and wiping all the frames over.' 'I got one of those stick things meself. I might as well do them meself if thats all ya gonna do.'
Once he let me get a word in edgeways, I explained the difference tween my brush on a telescopic pole and his mop on a stick and he's condesended to let my at least demonstrate it on the first visit with it. So we shall see.
Many of those I've done wfp for the first time so far have been pleasantly surprised how well it works. I've been telling them to go out and look at their frames upstairs before I start and then to note them afterwould. It kinda takes their minds off any light spotting on their windows when they see how good the frames come up as well.

The silicone aquarium hose will take 100 psi no problem.
