Title: POSTMAN LOVED MY SYSTEM!!!
Post by: Captain Scarlet on September 19, 2007, 06:40:29 pm
The postman came into the street I was cleaning today, he walked past to some other properties then came to the one I was cleaning. He said he thought that we were a new window cleaning outfit stealing our work ( he knows us by sight and thought we were out of towners stealing work because of the new system ) anyway he asked what the poles were so I explained and he asked where we came up with the idea and I explained that it is in use all over the world. He abseloutley loved the idea and was so enthusiastic about the system, he said it was about time people changed things and loved the "high tec equipment". He couldnt believe that the water would dry spotless so I told him to look at the finish tomorrow. He said his own window cleaner would sulk if he saw this system and that we did a much better job. Then before leaving he said he had never seen me happier cleaning windows.

And it's not just the postman who is impressed, everybody loves this new system and even the OAP'S. If they had the choice between trad and pole, I'm sure they would choose wfp everytime. Even the old people comment on how it must be much safer and that they think it is a brilliant idea. Luke

I reckon 1 or 2 out of 10 old folk are happy with it on my round.

I had a customer come out yesterday i could see her looking at the windows ::) she came over and said im not being picky  but all my windows are left wet are you going to dry them i said no ive done them this way for 8 months and they will be fine as i always check them anyway.  Yes she was being picky she is a funny cow, >:( ive explained about wfp to her as i do all customers you will always get the odd one that tries to find fault with wfp

I am very confident using wfp now so i pole tops and bottoms this saves me time and earns me more money :)

I'm with you Brett, but not so confident. I do get complaints and it's often water running down off the top frame member after i've gone. Not much I can do about that.

So what I do now is, when I wipe the sills with a towel to finish off I take a blade (squeegie) and a micro fibre. If Anything looks like it might be a problem later I try and deal with it.
