Title: Stripping & Sealing
Post by: Scott Martin on October 22, 2004, 01:41:47 pm
Hi,

I get loads of requests for stripping and sealing floors from my commercial clients and i generally charge around £3.00/£3.75 per sq mtre for the complete process and i honestly do not know if i am selling myself short or overcharging on this.

I know that we are C/C to the trade and this will probably annoy some of you that i am enquiring about this but it really does boost the income and at times is very lucrative!

If anyone can give me adice on this then i would be very grateful.

Can anyone advise on the best costs or breaksown so that i can expand this sideline further.

Our main income is Capet & Upholstery cleaning but get so many requests for the above.

The chemicals can be quite expensive, i use JohnsonDiversey Speed Strip and also their range of seal products.

Cheers
Scott
