Post by: johnny_h on September 17, 2007, 04:05:01 pm
just been to do a customer for the second time , she comes out half way through saying "i think i'll leave it for another month " so i said that will be £6 for the front few windows and thank you for your brief custom "oh i want you back next month"  "no thanks  i only keep regular customers not messers "says i , and this the customer who wanted half the conservatory roof cleaned because it would be too expensive to have the whole job done! good riddance............rant over

That's funny, I don't tend to get excuses, people are just straight with me. Or rude. Maybe you intimidate them?

All my customers are x8 weekly... I had one the other day ask to skip this time as they weren't too dirty.

The first thing I did when I got home was delete them from George.

I have no time for messers anymore... Got more than enough decent customers to keep me going.

Good for you Andy.
You were making an impression when I was just starting, to a degree I have copied your strategy(and with some success). I find most things that you say very sensiblle.

You don't somment as fully now. I did laugh when WW offered you web advice, but I have gotten to like WW also.

Had one the other week.... REALLY annoyed me LOL...

They were having a conservatory built, so I just did the windows I could and left my card.

Got a call from the guy to tell me he didnt want them done that time as he was having a conservatory built. How am I supposed to know if he doesnt tell me??

So I say... "OK, itll just be a fiver for the windows I did and that'll be fine", to which he tells me.... "oh, I'll give you a couple of quid this time, but I didn't really want them doing".

A couple of quid?!?! Noooo, a fiver please....

Swiftly dropped him!!
