Hi,
I need some microbore soon

Another well known supplier is £63.39 for 100 meters

Why dont you ask them to send you a 10cm sample so you can see the quality, some are double layered , got mine from Gardiners and its good stuff

got some wintecs microbore and its good stuff doesn't kink but ive only had it for a month so time will tell

I was told the wintecs one isn't crush proof????
Let me know if I'm wrong,.. it is a great price,... although I've heard rave reviews about Gardiner's new microbore recently.

Hi Guys
Just to confirm our price is £44 (not £63) + VAT + Delivery for 100 metres. We have this specially manufactured to our exact specification.
We've had one reel of this last for nearly 5 years (is that a record?)!

i think what alex is saying is his price is 63.39 all in where as the wintecs would have to be 36.25 plus vat and del so to cap it all its 36.25 v 44.00 corect me if im wrong marc

Sorry about that - I thought both prices quoted were before VAT and Delivery. Wintecs is £36.25 in total then? Bargain!

Yes, you are absolutely right.

wintecs is free delivery if over £30 (Alex are you taking note ;D)
so £36.25 plus VAT = £45.29 Delivered

Well if it's the right quality, then it's a bit of a bargain. If we offered free delivery then the children would have no shoes to wear to school :)

You only get what you pay for lads,... I doubt very much that the wintecs one is the same quality!

that comment can be true in alot of ways, but.. (there is a but..)
not in others: some people make money from this day in day out. An example go to your local diy place 2x2 timber £4 a length go to another outlet the same thing could be £2.50 so the same thing, so it is not always you get what you pay for. This is simple a fact on a item that you can buy from anywhere... Some have to charge more to cover costs they have, some just make a load of money on a low selling item. Window cleaning services on the other hand is a totally different kettle of fish with the service you can or cannot get.

You're right, I don't make a penny out of microbore! If you're interested (but I'm sure you're not - it is Sunday morning!) I've copied the following topic:

However, if the company started losing money by giving away free delivery as well as the smallest profit margins in the business, ultimately I would lose money. So don't go suggesting free delivery to Kirsty! ;)

Don't you just love Wintecs "click to enlarge" pics, it opens a new window but with the same size pic ::)
So where it says "PVC braided yellow microbore 20bar" the pic looks like a few rolls of black and grey twin and earth electrical wire....useless :P

I got my microbore from window cleaning warehouse and it doesnt kink or crush under cars, what more could you ask for,its perferct! Luke
