Had a school to clean today and had a struggle, most of the glass beaded like mad. Some newer windows gave the impression of being greasy and my water would hardly touch it. I came to the conclusion that someone previous had cleaned with chip fat or olive oil! Anyway I still have more to do tomorrow so I checked my TDS and its reading one ppm- surely not high enough to worry about till I get some more resin?

Ive cleaned at 5ppm before and it seems ok so 1ppm should be fine.

Thanks should last a few more days then. I shook the vessel up and got yellow water when I first turned it back on. Fine now although its still 001.

TFR will remove most residues,.. but I still try a bit of GG3 on the brush when there are greasy marks on the glass. It works a treat for me!

I have in the past had to clean with a reading of 023ppm i just rinsed off well and they came up the same as if i had cleaned with 000ppm, saying that though i don't know if it would have worked aswell on a first clean. ???
