Free websites as in free templates - probable

Hosting ?   you need to do it, is it free ?

Search engine submission ?  theres lots about - can it be done for free ?

Search engine optimisation ? essential - yes. But you need to spend time to do it right.

Yes there are lots of free websites, the reason they are free is that they usually have ads on them and your url is usually http://www.therecompany.com/yourname, if you can live with this then go for it.

It may be okay getting a free site, but how will you get it found by customers?
Its not that simple.

i think thats the same for everyone .. or is it... dont you have to payt lots for getting it up there in the premier league?

to be fair, its only local people who want local w/c,s... so if a person types in  " window cleaner huddersfield " for e.g

all the window cleaning websites in that town, if there are any... should come up...am i right in saying that ?  ??? ;)

Thanks for all your input everyone.

Gary.

guys

its free as has been said because you will be providing content for them to place adverts on. the adverts are small. the url is free if you don't mind being a subdomain of theirs. this is OK also as if you are only marketing this site in the search engines then it does not matter like it does in other media.

They are great for testing new ideas and with time they will benefits as they get older and more embedded in the systems. the age of an URL effects Google do if you are a sun domain of one that's been around for some time then you will benefit.

if you when to buy one thing then it would be an old URL.
