Hi all,
Just thought I'd let you all know about great service I had from woodbrodge today.
T/m broke down yesterday, phoned them in a panic (my fault, had let the waste tank get too full so foam and residue had gunged up the blower, causing a rubber gator to break which connects the engine to the blower). They had some jobs booked in for today but told me to get there first thing this morning and they'll try and sort it out.
Engineer started on it at 8.30, stripped it down, replaced the part, de-greased the blower, re-welded a heat exchanger that had split from the extreme heat the fault had caused, did a full service and check-up on the machine (showing and explaining to me about it all the way). Left there at 2.30 job done!
It all cost £330 including the £50 part, £50's worh of chems, labour and VAT.
BIG thankyou to all down there, I'm ready for work tomorrow!
All the best,
Jason.

Do these 'Woodbridge' waste tanks not have a cut out switch when they get too full, like most other truckmounts?
-
Foam would not trgger the cut out switch i believe

Hi Francis,
Hi jewell, yes john elmore sorted my problem out a treat, along with the other lads there.
Yes waste tank has cut off float when tank gets full of water, not foam as mark says.
Pete: Nothing done yet mate, get round to it soon.
All the best,
Jason.
