If anyone uses a liquid extraction agent, what do you consider to be the best and most cost effective?
Am considering all the usual i.e. Hydramaster, Prochem, Chemspec, Alltec but cant make my mind up!
Cheers
Kev
p.s. it must be liquid

Chemspec Formula 90
-
Water
According to the needs of the soiling and the chemistry I'm using, I may, or may not, use additives to enhance it's performance.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Today used nothing but Nemesis Super Presparay.
other then that Liquid Woolsfe - Prochem
-
I'd go along with F90, woolsafe at a high dilution and can be used at a lower dilution for tough jobs

Formula 90 for me too.Hydradri good too bit more economical than f90
-
On commercail low profile (synthetic of course) Extraction pro all day long. Almost don't need a pre-spray.

Yes, I'll go along with Pete (Ex Lands) on this.

I used extraction pro for over a year when i started out then i tried some formula 90 the difference was unbeliveable.Double Clean is good but extraction pro is crap.
-
no question i my mind, it has to be CHAMPION!!!!! by craftex, you can clean car engines with it.
-
Crystal green most of the time except on wool.

Formula 90
-
Kev did say "liquid"
-
Trust you to read the thread properly ::)

formula 90 seems to get the nod then. Freshi, Freshi, Freshi, (F%$ing) Champion is something a Geordie says when they have poo their pants.
By the way, whats the ph level of formula 90 when diluted at standard which I believe is 500-1

Colleagues
Not wishing to change me tune, but upon reflection I do seem to remember that Formula 90 did admirable work for me about 18 months ago. I suppose that you can't realistically differentiate that much between a liquid and powder make-up (the product manufacterers do both for good reasons), although the effect these have on the HWE machine can be considered. So in the end, I still endorse Prochem's Extraction Pro, but enthusiastically extend my approval to Chempec's Formula 90. Like you, I Just want to do a good job at the end of the day.

Champion is not an extraction agent, it's a pre spray.
It's a very high ph one as well.
Phil

Agree with you Phil.
Always regarded Champion as a prespray (and so do the manufacturers). Worrying what some of our colleagues use to extract with
-
Well it would depend on what i had presprayed as to what i used to extract ie prespray with ultrapac renovate or multi pro use fiber & fabric to extract and leave with a low ph. It depends on the job as to what i use.

Cheers lads for the responses. Seems I might give F90 a go then ;D
I have been used to using Ultimate Master which is neutral, with this higher PH level of between 9.5 - 11, I presume that this is ok for general situations, unless there is a concern with dye bleed or browning - in which case something like Fibre & Fabric rinse should be used?

I think most people were meaning F90 powder rather than the liquid.
-
Hi John
Do you know if the powder is different to the liquid ???
-
Its completely different.
-
I use formula 90 liquid and its very good ! I mainly use it at full strength but you can also use it on wool
-
John, I think they are referring to the liquid, the powder is buffered and is not woolsafe & the question specifically asked about liquidextraction fluid.

francis & phil, your dead right about champion it is a pre-spray, i just red the posting wrong, i'd never use it for any other method, please forgive me! back to the question, power'd it has to be ultimate master, for bonneting i love catalyst, cfr method's excell, reclaim & for grease enzo soil one. regards to you all on this fine sunny morning freshi
-
Mike, thats why I posted saying it was liquid. I sell them powder.
-
My favorite powder is chemspecs formula 70 it eats protein based soils but is not woolsafe as its an enzyme, my second would be formula 90 as a high ph cleaner and one clean as a low ph woolsafe chemical, I also use quite a lot of formula 90 liquid as it is woolsafe on the low dilution and can be used in three differant strengths
