I decided when I set the business up that I wanted it to be a national company within 15yrs, just wondered if anyone else set up with a clear view of where they want their business to go or if most people just plod along and waits to see what happens

Nah gleam, i havent got the financial backing, the business know-how, the hard-as-nails attitude, to make it big in the business world. I also dont like the stress of having people working for me (i dont find it so bad managing other peoples staff but not my own...). I am happy just cleaning houses (i do about 16 a week) and earning the money, going home afterwards and not having to worry about it OR dread the thought of going back to work the next day. I love my job, but it is so physically demanding that i know i cant keep it up forever. Ideally i'd like to go into the training side of cleaning when the oppourtunity to do so comes up. Otherwise i'm happy working on my own.
