Title: Female hoselock fittings (metal)
Post by: simon w on September 11, 2007, 09:00:13 pm
Hi

Trying to source some half inch female hoselock fittings (Push-in) in either brass or stainless steel.
as i'm fed up with using the plastic variety which always seem to leak :( Can anyone point me in the right direction. :)

A web-link would be great.

Thanks
Simon W. ;)

Cheers John.

Are they the push in variety, like the plastic hoselock version?

I'll have a look for them next time i'm near B&Q.

do brass fittings mate up to plastic fittings or does it have to be brass all round

They do mate up but can wear the plastic fittings faster.

I second that.  You can get them from B&Q.  We did but were get through 1 a month and when they break they are useless.  The plastic ones I've had on have lasted for 5 months now with no problems.
