Has the academy been high jacked, clicked on it then loads of dodgy info trying to load on my pc ???

I have spent the last hour and a half scanning my computer for a virus.
I did email Joe, but he may be working, some seem to still be able to get on as I have had notification emails from the academy.

Keep us informed as if it has been high jacked the I will have to temp remove the link from the our site until it is resolved.
Trust it to go wrong at a time you need it, was trying to get some info off there ???

I know the feeling Doug, I had a little work to do on there tonight, behind the scenes now it has to wait.
I know we had a new member asking me questions, he probably thinks I'm a rude so & so for not answering him.
I also had a few pm's to answer so if anyone can get on, can they add a post informing them of the issues where having>

It will come, say 2 days or so, alas I am with Onetel/carphone wharehouse who ride on the back of Tiscalli. They are being globally spammed and spiked.
Make me wonder if I should go back to BT.

Jackie has just said that she has `ZA` on her pc. It`s so much better than Windows `Firewall`. She says its like a `two way fire wall`,stops unauthorised access out as well as in.

that program is a must, it has blocked 25000 access atempts on this computer in just 1 year! Luke

well what a carry on i have had with the company i registered my domain name with, the reason the training academy went down, was becouse the domain name was stoped, puzzle as i had 27 days left before it expires, apparantly now 1 month before expiry they stop it, reason they said was if it expires you lose your domain name, reason they did it, was they said i never answered their email, silly me forgot to give them my new email, when i changed providers, ::) sorry folks, the forum should be back up today at some point,

You have to watch that Jo, if you wait till it ran out it would cost you £80 plus what ever they change, nominent are in control of every .uk domain name, happened to windowwashers.co.uk had to pay them a retagging fee >:( I also do the same thing with re registering domain names 28 days before I send details, then 14 days, then domain gets pointed to a holding page asking for contact, then 0days I just do not register it again an it is then detagged (has no host), if you used a good provider the domain should be back online within 24 hours, or when they refresh there domain name server (I refresh mine with three clicks and takes about 40 seconds.

ian, i made in in plenty of time, to renew it, i will put it in my dairy so i dont miss it again, i dont understand what you mean by the refreshing the website,

If your site has gone down because of a payment issue they then point your domain names else where, if it was your site that was the issue then the host would just rename/change the details, the only way for either of these to work again is to refresh the server (like you would do if you refreshed a web page you was looking at) and that reason is so you can see the fresh content (to you would be your website again) many big companies refresh the server in the early hours so not to upset there customers. I do this as and when I want as I am not hosting 100000's of sites only around 30.
