Title: Can I take the DI out of my van?

Up untill now I have ro'd straight from garage to tank on van with di on van to give a final polish.


Is it okay for me to di after ro into my holding tank and then transfer pump onto van. Does anyone else do this? Are there any problems?

My tds is about 300 tap water and 1 to 2 after ro (300gpd roman and I use a booster pump.)

Yes its ok

My set up is pure 0 tds straight into the van.

So i just have tank , pump and hose.

yes, i RO and DI into barrels :)

though my DI resin is spent, so it doesnt do anything

Thanks Lads- even if I do manage to screw it up at least I know there is nothing in theory to stop me doing it.The main reason for doing it is to give me the option of running two poles off the van and filling up at half time.

I'm siteing the holding tank outside it has two screw off lids but because it's outside I don't want to leave them open. Whats the neatest idea for putting water into the tank?

Cleantech have put a transfer pump and thirty meters of thick hose to take it to the van.

On my van a hoselock male sticks out of the side but im' worried if I drill any holes I might leave bits inside.(I'm talking about the holding tank)
