Do they take schrader or hoselock connections
-
Either.
Just cut the spray wand off and get the right adaptors.
-
Oh good,
I've just ordered the backpack and pole and realized I ordered a pole with the schrader valve on. So I just need to remove it if needs be.
-
Nope not quite as easy as that.
You will need to adapt from the backpack hose size to the schrader male or female that you will need depending on the one on your pole.

This is my fitting on my backpack (http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k23/jeffo_01/TapWinCE.jpg)

Joe, you still have to remove the lance to fit an adaptor so you can fit it to your pole ;)
-
I cut the lance off completely and forced a female hozelock connector on, pole plugs straight into that. 8)

Hello gents,
My shur-flo has just back packed up! Does anyone use the Omnipole back pack? Just wondered how it compares as to reliability etc.
cheers, Gary

You can sometimes manage it with pliers but its a lot easier to use the right tool.
A crimper.
I purchased one from liddle a few months ago for £1.99.
Not brill but more than does the job.
Or do what I used to do and use your teeth! ;D ;D
