It drives me mad,
i have 3 plastic containers on either side of van (screwed on)
for any bits and bats and cloths etc... but the rest is a clutter at the end of each day... and if im too busy or knackered to tidy it at the end of the day... the following day is a nightmare.
tail hoses, poles... hi vis jackets.. sign, lots of bloody clutter...
where do you all put your poles...
im thinking of getting some black soil pipe nice and wide 6"
to stick the poles in... but how do i fasten them to the ceiling of the van?
im stressed today lol ;) ;D ???
-
I usually stack a few tesco style delivery crates up with the clutter in.
If your local and need a bunch let me know, i have loads (in brum)
-
lol thanks. but im in yorkie
its the poles and hoses mainly....i want them up and away
-

Mine on a good day
-
He's got one too. ???
-
And for Leeds, I need a bigger van
-
mines tidy
-
the things on ebay says you can hold up to three poles with 2 sets purchased... does that mean one set holds one and a half poles lol...
how are you hanging them from the ceiling guys.
-
With mine , I clean the windows of someone who makes metal gates, I got him to make a bar to fit across the top of the van and fit some hooks on it.
Before that I used a set of ladder hangers, or you could use gutter brackets
-
I use the same brackets that are used for the gutter downpipes
-
I use down pipes tube with the brackets attached with self tapper screws
-
I keep mine tidy, it's my office. ;D
-
Another blue fire extinguisher! ???
-
And very very big toilet rolls!
I notice these more and more these days..

the ladder that folders down telescopic one, whats it like? can you get on garage roofs etc with it?
-
my father has one of those ladders, they dont seem very good. you'd be able to get onto a single story garage roof, but you couldnt do upstairs windows trad with one. they are also very expensive usually and weigh a lot. convinience for storage is about the only good thing about them.
they can also jam too, making folding them down a pain.
-
Why's everyone being so secretive about the fire extinguishers? ::)
I won't stop asking until someone tells me...
-
Don't anyone blow then whistle on the blag 8)
Or you will cast out from the brotherhood.
Must admit though i'm kinda intrigued too :D
I know it's a DI canister(not a bl**dy fire extinguisher) Am i right in thinking you can just connect these up to convert tap water and convert to de ionised on site?
It's ok squeaks, you are NOT alone ;)
-
The fire extinguishers are used to bring down there tds, as the water in there tanks is not 000.
My mate fills his tank with a merlin, and the fire extinguishers bring it down to pure.

The transporter gives you a lot of room, i have tucker in toyota hiace, but leaves very little space, i,ll get the lwb next time.
