Title: HELP with quote
Post by: need a cleaner on September 04, 2007, 09:18:20 pm
Hi, once again im here looking for help quoting for a job, i was asked to quote for the cleaning of 24 shutters(shop fronts)
Quote
The shutters are due to be painted similarly to the shops on the ***********, but before they can be painted they need to be cleaned, primarily to get the dirt and grime off but also any graffiti as much as possible.
the shutters are 2,5m x 2,5m and are 24 of them, they will need to be cleaned after the shops working hrs, i have never quoted for a job like this so would apreciate any input from more experienced members ;D

this is a 1off job

i only have one shop shuter to do every now and again its about the same dimentions i just charge him an extra £5 as it only takes 10 mins  because if they are you regular shops you dont want to go too steep and loose your shop as well pluss word gets around

this is a 1off the quote as been requested by an organization with local goverment links, its part of a area recuperation and they have not been clean for years, most of them are signwrited with markers and a few have some graffiti writing.

so how long do you think each shutter will take then think how much an hour you would be making then ad about 20% on extra  so if you would make 15 pounds an hour add 20% on that some may tak less time then others so its swings and roundabouts

why dont you have a go at cleaning one or part of one ie if you clean half of one in say 30 mins you then know that it would take 24 x that of one you then have your price
